Launching in January 2027, the Tower Hamlets Debt Centre will offer practical help, companionship and hope to people facing debt and financial pressure in Tower Hamlets.

A partnership between Christians Against Poverty (CAP), a group of local evangelical churches, and GrowTH - will run the Debt Centre; which will connect clients with CAP’s specialist debt advice while also offering relational, pastoral and practical support through GrowTH and the wider church community.

Clients will be supported by trained Debt Coaches and Befriending volunteers as they work through their debt journey, with opportunities to receive prayer, build friendships, connect with local churches and explore the Christian faith if they wish.
